2008 Kisaragi High Incident
In 2008, a group of Year 2 students attending Kisaragi High went missing while at school. There were no traces of them or any signs that they left, as if they just mysteriously vanished into thin air.

The students were last seen on the 23rd of September 2008 at about 12.46 P.M as lunch began. Eyewitness accounts state that Chihaya Sato was seen entering the room alongside Yuto Watanabe at 1.12 P.M, preceding Akira Yamada and Mitsuki Maeda, who both entered at 1.16.
A drawing recovered from the clubroom, showcasing "The Rootman", a possibly fictitious creature.
At 1.30 P.M, witnesses claimed to have heard a loud "thundering noise" followed by a bright flash of light in the surrounding area of the room. When several school faculty members entered to room in response to these reports, they saw no one. Only a mysterious symbol etched onto the wooden floor with chalk, and various cryptic drawings.

Synopsis
The Rootman is a 2D RPG following the Paranormal Extracurricular, a school club dedicated to the unknown, as they uncover the secrets of the Rootman while also learning a lot about the world they live in. Estimated around an hour of gameplay for the demo, 2-4 hours of gameplay for the final release.
This game is NOT out yet. The demo will be released some time in May/June of this year.

How to Install
1.) Before installing the game, make sure you have the RTP for RPG Maker XP installed. You can find it here: https://www.rpgmakerweb.com/run-time-package
2.) Run the EXE file to install the game.
3.) Click on "Game" to play.
(Note: I am aware that some antivirus software, including mine, detects it as a virus. Rest assured, I have done a scan for any malware and yeah it's safe.)
